DART Sim Remote App Reviews

Well, the first thing that come to my mind as an issue of this app is the fact that whenever I leave the screen the connection with my Dart Sim is lost. This is kind of annoying since Its hard to use my iphone for the sole purpose of controling my Dart Sim when my Dart Sim Remote is needed.

I have new ipad air and been using the app for months. Finally bought the remote option and now it wont pair with iphone4s?? Waste of money so far.

Best teaching tool ever now with this new remote app makes it easier to navigate and play with each scenario . Cant wait to use it on the next class with the students.

I teach AHA class to a various spectrum of students. I really enjoy the platform that the base program uses. I did not like the idea if having to take my iPad our of the case so I could use my keyboard to control. I spent hours trying to connect to the program from mg iPhone (controller) To the program running on iPad. I really hope they get the bugs out. I have tried a lot of sequences to connect, just about ready to give up. Please refund or fix.

I totally agree with Dave. This wont connect. This looks awesome if it works.

Would be a Great program, works ok, forced closed once but all the extras in the description cost extra, even the bluetooth connection to your phone. Ridiculously overprice extras at that. It is really worthless without the scenarios or bluetooth connection. If you expect to get all that it describes for $12.99, you are mistaken. Expect to spend at least another $50 to $75 for a fully functional program.

I have to say this remote thing is really cool. Wow, I love how I can control the sim with my iPhone. Its pretty amazing how cheap it is compared to other options out there. My department purchased iPads specifically to run this program. In the past we paid thousands of dollars on real defibrillators and rhythm generators. We auctioned off our Zoll monitors we used for training on ebay. We got 3 iPad AIRs and 3 new iPod touches and our department had plenty of money left over. This application WILL NOT work until you have purchased the $24.99 bluetooth function feature. To purchase this bluetooth function launch your DART ECG & Rhythm simulator app and tap on the "iPhone icon” located to the far right. Then a box will open up and prompt you to purchase the bluetooth feature. I thought this application would link via Wi-Fi only. You need to purchase the this bluetooth feature. I can see why the other reviewers complained about not being able to connect. It won’t work unless you pay for the bluetooth function. The remote application can be improved. I hope the developers read my review. When I adjust the heart rate, Blood pressure, Resp rate, Temp, SPO2 or Etco2 with the remote a box opens up. When I enter in a value and press “OK” the box closes and that works great. But if I am using the up and down arrows to make smaller adjustments I can’t close the box unless I tap outside of the box area. Not a big deal but just a suggestion. Thank you for making such a great product!

I like the remote app because my students cant see me adjusting the vitals or changing the rhythms. Very cool!

I payed $25 for the ability to connect. It wont connect. It connects as well now, after paying $25, as it did before I had the ability to connect. Dont fall for it. Im trying to get my money back.

Doesnt connect. Just searches for other devices indefinitely. Would give 5 stars if worked.

Buyer beware! This app is almost worthless without the over priced expensive in app purchases. It does NOT connect via Bluetooth unless you spen $25 on in app, does NOT run scenarios or have customizable scenarios without in app purchase, does NOT do 12 lead/CXR view without in app purchase. By the time you have purchased all the upgrades to do what is in the description you will have spent $75. It is disappointing that the developers are not upfront and honest about this in the description. The app does work well if you buy all the upgrades. By itself it not worth it. Be prepared to spend $75 to have what you are really looking for.

can not connect my iphone to my ipad in the application and makes many attempts to connect, so I can not give more than a star, an expensive application so that it can not synchronize remote control, need to fix that detail the owners of the application, I am not satisfied with the purchase

Used the remote during medic class tonight. I was able to run things while moving around the room. As noted in the description this is not a stand alone ap. Dartsim is on my ipad. The remote ap on my iphone allows me to change rhythms and readings on the ipad. I did have some connection issues originally. But those were quickly solved. I did contact support by email, they responded quickly with the needed information.

I had using this app for years. Just check the wenckebach pattern.

The heart rhythm does not show up on screen when a scenario is played or just in general.

The ekg are not there after update. I reset and reloaded App. Please fix so much potential for this app.

After actualization I can use the monitor. Pelase help

After the update no ECG will generate

After latest update, the keg will not display on the screen!!! How can I fix this.

Hard to teach when you cant show the rhythm! Its got all the bells and whistles, minus the EKG!
